サモス到着 / Arrived at Samos / Llegado a Samos

この日、トリアカステラからは男三人でのスタートということもあり、結構速いペースで歩いた。途中で先に出発したグループにも追い付くことができた。

セブレイロ峠ほどではないものの、適度なアップダウンのある道を歩く途中、中島先生からガリシアの高床倉庫について簡単な説明を受けた。どうも、どこの国でも似たようなことを考えるものだな、と思った。

結局のところ、10km先という表示の目的地サモスSamosまではちょうど３時間ほどかかった。どうもこの手の看板は当てにならないらしい。単に車道と山道を歩くことの差異かもしれないが。

サモスでは修道院にアルベルゲが付属しているらしく、そこに泊まるのだと思っていた。山を下る途中で見えた修道院は、静かな雰囲気を湛えていた。

We, the three boys, walked a bit faster than usual and could catch up the girls before arriving at Samos. Ms. Nakajima then told us that there are some raised granaries which are unique in Galicia. Nosotros, tres chicos, andabamos un poco más rápido que de costumbre y alcanzaba a las chicas. Sra. Nacajima entonces nos enseñaba que hay unos hórreos únicos en Galicia.
