コンポステラーナ (1) / Compostelana (1)

大聖堂の右手へと続く道を辿っていくと、巡礼事務所Oficina de peregrinosの建物が見えて来た。
ここで、スタンプを押したクレデンシアルと引き換えに、巡礼証明書であるコンポステラーナを受け取るのだ。

事務所は二階にあるらしく、そこへ続く階段には大勢の巡礼者たちが並んでいた。
これまでに歩いて来た中で出会った巡礼者たちにも会えるかと期待したが、ここでは会うことはできなかった。

なかなか進まない列に30分ほど並んだ後で、ようやく受付に進むことができた。
クレデンシアルを渡して、コンポステラーナを受け取る。
ラテン語で書かれていたが、なんとなく内容は分かったから、友人たちに、帰国したら日本語の訳を送ると約束した。

Walking to the right side of the cathedral, we found the Pilgrim's Office, where we were to get "Compostelana" that testifies our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. When we were waiting in line, I hoped to meet some of the pilgrims that I had met on Camino, but I couldn't. After about thirty minutes, we got the Compostelana, which was written in Latin. So I promised my friends to translate it into Japanese.

Andando hacia el lado derecho de la catedral, encontramos la Oficina de Peregrinos, donde íbamos a conseguir "Compostelana" que testimonia nuestra peregrinación a Santiago de Compostela. Cuando estábamos esperando en la cola, tenía la esperanza de conocer a algunos de los peregrinos que había conocido en el Camino, pero no pude. Después de unos treinta minutos, conseguimos la Compostelana, que fue escrito en latín. Así que me prometí a mis amigos que lo haría traducir al japonés.
