ポルトマリーンのアルベルゲに行くと、中島先生がすでに手配していてくれたらしく、すんなりと16人分のベッドを確保することができた。しかし、アルベルゲのおばちゃんの曰く、使えるようにするまでまだ時間がかかる、とのこと。
仕方がないのでその間にシャワーを浴びさせてもらうことにした。

温かい湯を浴びながら、昨日のサモスで洗濯機がなく手洗いをせざるを得なかったために洗えなかった洗濯物のこと、今夜あるはずの2回目の講義のこと、そのあとで開催されるはずの祭りのこと、などをぼんやりと考えた。

シャワーを終えて、アルベルゲの入り口で涼んでいると、一緒に到着したメンバーもシャワーを終えて出てきた。ふらふらと2人で近くのスーパーへ行き、ポルトマリーンへ来る途中で先生へ電話してもらう代わりに、ということで約束していたアイスクリームを買って、近くの階段で座って食べていた。すると、2番目のグループが到着したところに出くわした。一緒にアルベルゲに戻りつつ、後方の様子を聞いたりした。

アルベルゲに戻るときには祭りの準備をしている様子が見えた。大きなステージがあり、本格的な演奏がされるらしい。

As we got to the albergue of Portomarín, we could find enough beds for sixteen people. While the caretakers were preparing the beds, we took a shower and went to a supermarket to buy an ice cream which I had promised my companion to buy on the way to Portomarín in return for a call to Ms. Nakajima. When we're eating the ice cream sitting on a stone step, two other members arrived. Going back to the albergue, we saw people preparing for the festival. Cuando llegamos al albergue de Portomarín, pudimos encontrarnos a las camas suficientes para dieciseis personas. Porteros estaban preparando las camas, duchabamos y entonces andabamos a un supermercado para comprar los helados que yo prometía comprar para mi compañera a cambio de una llamada a Sra. Nakajima. Comiendo helados, dos miembros llegaron a Portomarín. Volviendo juntos al albergue, nos encontrabamos a personas preparando la fiesta.
