朝のサンティアゴ / Morning of Santiago / Mañana en Santiago

集合時間がかなり遅めに設定されていたせいもあって、早めに目が覚めてしまった。
部屋にいるのももったいないので、街を散歩してから大聖堂へ行くことにした。

街をふらふらと歩いていると、サンティアゴやフィニステッラの写真つきのポストカードを売っていたので、友人にお土産として渡すべく購入した。

部屋に戻ってポストカードを置いて、みんなと大聖堂へ向かった。
大聖堂の中央の祭壇の上に祀られているヤコブ像に触るために、列に並んだ。
ヤコブ像は祭壇の上から大聖堂の入り口を向いているので、後ろからヤコブ像に触れる形になる。
大胆にも抱きついている巡礼者たちもいたのだが、やはり抱きつくのは畏れ多いような気がして、結局肩に触れる程度で済ませた。

大聖堂の外へ出て、空港へと向かうバスのチケットを買うべくターミナルへと向かった。
いよいよサンティアゴともお別れである。

When I woke up, there was enough time for walking around the streets till the meeting time to go to the Cathedral. So I got out of the dormitory and found a shop where beautiful picture postcards were selling. I bought some of them to give my friends in Japan. Then I went back to the dormitory and visited the Cathedral with the members. Waiting in line to touch the statue of St. James, I was feeling some kind of reverence. So I couldn't embrace the statue but just touched on the shoulder of it. Then we walked to the bus terminal to buy the tickets to the airport of Vigo. The time to say good bye to Santiago was coming. Cuando me desperté, había suficiente tiempo de caminar por las calles hasta la hora de reunión para ir a la Catedral. Así que salí de la residencia y encontré a una tienda donde hermosas tarjetas postales estaban vendidos. He comprado algunos de ellos para dar a mis amigos en Japón. Volví a la residencia y visitó la Catedral con los miembros. Poniendome en la cola para tocar la estatua de Santiago, me sentía una especie de reverencia. Así que no podía abrazar la estatua, sólo tocó en el hombro de la estatua. Luego nos dirigimos a la terminal de autobuses, para comprar los billetes hasta el aeropuerto de Vigo. 最後の夜 / The last night / La última noche

レストランから歩いて大学の寮に戻り、明日の出発の予定を確認してから各自の部屋に入った。

サンティアゴに戻ってきた時点で既に日付が変わっていたので、既にだいぶ遅い時間だったが、寝る前にメールを確認するために寮のパソコンスペースへ行った。
昨日、サンティアゴに到着した旨を伝えた友人たちからのメールを読んで、帰国後のことについて返信を書いた。とはいっても、あいかわらず日本語の入力環境がないので、つたない英語で、ではあるが。

明日は午前中にもう一度大聖堂に行き、聖ヤコブ像に触れるということだった。楽しみなようでもあり、畏れ多いような気持ちもあり、少し興奮したまま、シャワーを浴びてから眠りについた。

Before each of the members went back to their room, Ms. Nakajima told us the schedule for tomorrow. Then I went to the PC room of the dormitory to check e-mails. Reading some e-mails which were the replies to the ones I wrote yesterday, I replied to them in English because there weren't any keyboards with which I could write e-mails in Japanese. Back to my room and taking shower, I went to bed thinking about tomorrow's visit and touch to the statue of St. James in the Cathedral. (Photo: PC room of the dormitory, 12 Sep 2008.)

Antes de que volvimos a la habitación de cada uno, Sra. Nakajima nos dijo que el plan para mañana. Entonces me fui a la sala de ordenador en el residencia para ver e-mails. Leyendo algunos e-mails que fueron las respuestas a los e-mails que escribí ayer noche, les respondió en Inglés porque no había teclados con la que se podría escribir japonés. サンティアゴへ / Back to Santiago / Vuelta a Santiago

帰りのバスでも、ムシーア行きのバスと同様にうとうととしていたら、あっという間にサンティアゴに到着してしまった．

ムシーアでは結局何も食べなかったので、サンティアゴについてからの夕食となった。16人という大人数なので、入れるレストランを何とか探して、全員が席についた。

夕食が運ばれてくるまでに、講習メンバーの代表から、中島先生にお礼を言って、メッセージを書いたＴシャツを手渡した。
最後の夕食だ、ということにいまさら思い当たり、巡礼中のいろいろなことを思い出して話しながら、食事を楽しんだ。

While I was sleeping, the bus had arrived in Santiago. We didn't have dinner in Muxía, so we had to look for a restaurant where all of us could be seated. After ordering some food and drinks, one of the members said thank you to Ms. Nakajima on behalf of us and gave her the T-shirt that we wrote thanks on the bus. Then I noticed that this was the last supper in Spain, and enjoyed the dishes remembering the things that had happened on Camino de Santiago. (Photo: The street of Santiago, 13 Sep 2008.)

Mientras estaba durmiendo, el autobús había llegado a Santiago. No teníamos la cena en Muxía, así que tuvimos que buscar un restaurante donde habría asientos para todos nosotros. Después de ordenar algo de comida y bebidas, uno de los miembros dijo gracias a la Sra. Nakajima en nombre de nosotros, y le dio la camiseta en que escribimos palabras de gracias en el autobús. 祭り、再び (2) / Festival, again (2) / Fiesta, de nuevo (2)

日が沈んで完全に暗くなってしまった道を歩いて、海岸から祭りの会場へと移動した。

ムシーアでのお祭りは、ポルトマリーンとは趣が異なり露店がたくさん出ていて、日本のお祭りに近いように感じた。
会場も綺麗にライトアップされていた。

バスの出発までは30分程あるから、好きに見て回るといいと言われたので、歩いてみると大体は日本のお祭りの露店と変わらないように感じた。
お菓子などの食べ物の露店が中心で、特に面白そうなものもなかったので、飲み物を飲みながら時間を潰した。

帰りのバスの中では、メンバーから、サンティアゴで中島先生に渡すためのＴシャツにコメントを書くことにしたと言われた。
バスに揺られながら、今回のカミーノ講習を企画してくれたこと、10日以上に渡って引率してくれたことなどを思い出しながら、お礼の言葉を書いた。

Walking in the dark, we moved from the shore to the place of the festival. The festival was not like the one we had in Portomarín but looked like the Japanese festival. We had about 30 minutes till the bus would come and every member looked around the candy stalls or something like that. On the bus to Santiago, I was told by some members of the Camino course that we would write some words of thanks on a T-shirt to say thank you to Ms. Nakajima. Andando en la oscuridad, nos trasladamos desde la orilla hasta el lugar de la fiesta. Ella no era como la que concimos en Portomarín, pero parecía como el festival japonés. Tuvimos unos 30 minutos hasta que el autobús venía, entonces todos los miembros recorrían los puestos de dulces o algo así. En el autobús a Santiago, me dijeron algunos miembros del curso Camino, que iban a escribir algunas palabras en camiseta para agradecer a Sra. Nakajima. 太陽の死 (3) / Death of the Sun (3) / Muerte del sol (3)

太陽が沈んでしまってから、海岸にあった岩と教会を見学した。

その岩は二枚貝の片方のような形をしており、安産祈願の岩だという。地面と岩の間に人がやっと通れる程度のスペースがあり、そこを通ると子宝に恵まれるのだ、と。
何人かが岩くぐりにトライするのを見ていた。

教会の床は砂で覆われていて、中には小さな祭壇があった。

二階の祭壇も見学して外に出ると、かなり暗くなっていて、星が瞬いていた。
遠くから音楽が聞こえてきた。
祭りが始まっているようだった。

After the sunset, we visited a rock and a church. The rock was like a half part of bivalve on the ground and it was for children and easy delivery. And the church had a small altar on the floor covered with the sands. We visited another altar on the second floor and got out of the church, when we found stars in the sky and heard some music. Después de la muerte del sol, visitamos una roca y una iglesia. La roca era como una parte de la mitad de bivalvos en el suelo y era para niños y un alumbramiento fácil. Y la iglesia había un pequeño altar en el suelo cubierto con las arenas. Visitamos otro altar en el segundo piso y salimos de la iglesia, entonces nos encontramos con estrellas en el cielo y oímos música a distancia. La fiesta parecía que se iniciaba.
